(Financial aid)
Financial aid, for those who qualify.
Florida Professional Institute offers financial aid assistance, for those who qualify, through programs supported by the U.S. Department of Education, plus payment plans in every program.
(Title IV)
Florida Professional Institute is approved to participate in the Federal Pell Grant Program, the Federal Direct Student Loan Program and the Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant. Title IV and HEA program funding approved by the U.S. Department of Education, such as Pell Grants and student loans, is applicable for the Massage Therapy program, for those who qualify.
Federal Pell Grant
Awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree, based on financial need and the cost of education. A Pell Grant does not have to be repaid.
Federal Direct Student Loans
Borrowed money that must be repaid. Repayment begins six months after a student drops below half-time or completes the program. Subsidized loans are need based with a fixed rate set each year by the federal government; unsubsidized loans are not need based and interest is charged through the life of the loan. FPI encourages students to control how much they borrow.
Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant
For students whose parent or guardian died as a result of military service in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001.
