Practical Nursing (PN)
Become a Licensed Practical Nurse — your entry into the nursing profession.
The Practical Nursing program is an accelerated, clock-hour program designed to prepare students for entry-level professional nursing positions across healthcare environments.
It emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, safety, and informatics — nurturing compassionate, highly skilled nurses. Graduates become eligible to take the NCLEX-PN.
What you'll be able to do
Demonstrate fundamental nursing skills through basic procedures and patient-care techniques.
Apply critical thinking by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, verbally and in writing.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in nursing practice.
Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, safe care using informatics and quality-improvement principles.
Prepare for the NCLEX-PN by building the necessary knowledge and test-taking skills.
Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN and become Licensed Practical Nurses. The PN program is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.
Approval is not accreditation. Quest Nursing Education Center is not accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and students are not eligible for federal financial aid. Please review our catalog and School Performance Fact Sheet before enrolling.
