Vocational Nursing (VN)
Our flagship program — become a Licensed Vocational Nurse and launch a lifelong nursing career.
Vocational Nursing is our signature program. Two credential pathways are offered: a Certificate of Completion (all core courses) and a Diploma (core courses plus a comprehensive exit exam).
Both pathways qualify graduates to sit for the NCLEX-PN with the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) — and both include comprehensive exit-exam preparation as an NCLEX-PN readiness tool.
What you'll be able to do
Develop a strong foundation in the principles and practices of vocational nursing.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Apply critical thinking to assess patient needs and provide appropriate nursing care.
Demonstrate nursing skills — medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment.
Understand legal and ethical issues in healthcare and adhere to professional standards.
Gain hands-on experience through supervised clinical training in varied healthcare settings.
Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN and become Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN). The program is approved by the California BVNPT.
Approval is not accreditation. Quest Nursing Education Center is not accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and students are not eligible for federal financial aid. Please review our catalog and School Performance Fact Sheet before enrolling.
