The program

Administrative and clinical skills, in one program.

The objective of this program is to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform both administrative and clinical duties in a medical office or healthcare setting. Upon completion, students will be prepared to handle patient intake, clinical procedures, laboratory tasks, electronic health record management, and professional communication, while adhering to legal, ethical, and safety standards. Graduates will be ready to enter the workforce as competent, confident, and career-ready Medical Assistants.

This 900-hour program combines classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training to prepare students for a career as a Medical Assistant. Students will learn administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and electronic health records management, as well as clinical procedures including vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, EKG, and basic laboratory techniques.

Emphasis is placed on patient safety, infection control, professional conduct, and practical application through supervised labs and clinical experiences.
